Star has since 1997 been certified according to the the requirements in the ISO standard and is now certified according to the requirements in NS EN ISO 9001:2000. Our Open Hatch vessels are classed to the highest specification by Det Norske Veritas.

To offer our customers a quality fleet, with state-of-the-art cargo handling solutions, Star continuously renews and develops the Open Hatch concept. Since 1994 Star has taken delivery of 22 Open Hatch vessels and has today 4 new buildings on order for delivery in 2009/2010. Within our segment Star is leading the development in setting new innovative standards.
